ALL TERRAIN
PROBLEM STATEMENT
Build a robot within specified dimensions that can traverse all kinds of terrain in minimum time.
ROBOT SPECIFICATIONS
The robot can have maximum dimensions of 25cm X 25cm X 25cm
Voltage:12 V
NOTE:
1. The voltage supply should be on-board.
2. A tolerance of 5% is allowed in the above mentioned parameters.
3. The robot can be wired or wireless.
Qualification round
1. In this round the participant’s robot has to cross different terrains
2. Once the robot crosses the terrains, it is clear that the robot is eligible for the next round.
Task: This round has Speed breakers, Obstacles and Sand, Soft stones and grease,Raised platform.
Judging criteria
1. The team will be eligible for the next round, if it successfully completes the qualifying round.
2. If there are many participants completing the qualifying round, preference will be given to Teams with the number of points scored and time taken.(each zone will have points associated to it).
3. If the bot Touches the boundary of arena then 5 sec time will be add to total time.
4. if the team wants to skip one of the obstacles 30 sec will be added to total time
FINAL ROUND
1. The Arena will be disclosed on the day of the event
2. The arena consists of terrains such as a see-saw type plank, rocky terrain, sand heaps and water in addition to the usual terrains.
Rules and regulations
1. A team can consist of utmost 3 members.
2. Members of different institutions can form a team.
3. Only two members are allowed into the arena, one for controlling an another for assisting.
4. Readymade chassis are not permitted
5. Any kind of damage to the arena will not be entertained, and if done, the robot will be immediately disqualified.
6. All the required accessories have to be brought by the participants.
7. No assistance will be provided by the coordinators during the time of the event.
8. No practice runs
CERTIFICATE POLICY
· Certificate of Merit will be given to top 3 winners.
· Certificates of Participation will be given to all the teams.
· The teams which get disqualified due to disobeying any of the competition rules will not be considered for the certificate.
DISCLAIMER
Judges' decision shall be treated as final and binding on all. Teams disobeying their word by arguing or creating a scene shall be disqualified. Judge have all rights to change the rule at the time of event.
